How does TelaMed differ from Virtual Staff companies advertising $10 an hour employees?

We are not a cut rate solution. Yes, we will save you tens of thousands of dollars in a relatively short time, but we offer so much more. We are a high end, state of the art offsite staffing company whose operators are all rigorously trained in hospitality and physician office needs. Your TelaMed staff is dedicated to your office. If your staff is on vacation or out sick we will provide temporary alternate staff, already expert in whatever EMR system you utilize. You will be assigned senior level management to ensure that all protocols are rigidly followed and that your satisfaction remains 100%. Our physical location houses the entire remote staffing team, so your phones will never be uncovered. Our connectivity, cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and technology is unmatched. All calls are recorded and all interactions are continuously monitored to maintain superb customer service. When we add our optional AI overlay to your service, your calls will be handled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How is TelaMed different than AI agents that are currently being marketed heavily to American physicians?

We embrace AI and offer it as an overlay – not a replacement – for the human interaction that we feel is critical for the empathy required in a healthcare business. Our after-hours AI service is really geared to that patient who just doesn’t have time to call during the day or who has an after-hours urgent issue. Our AI overlay in many cases can eliminate the need for expensive after-hours answering services.

What happens if my TelaMed staff is sick or on vacation?

One of the great advantages of TelaMed is our redundancy of hospitality trained health care staff.  We always maintain a crew of ‘floaters’ each of whom are fluent in the protocols of multiple offices as well as multiple EMR systems.  In times of vacation or illness, they step right in.
